Players In Education


Players in education create fresh, fun, diverse workshops within schools in and around Preston. Our courses are held for one hour after school, on school premises. This is run on a weekly basis for a minimum of six weeks. Whilst concentrating on building confidence, communication skills and creativity, the children will learn all aspects of the arts, culminating in an end of term performance where all families and friends will be invited to watch. How do I sign my child up to the course?
If Players in Education is currently running in your school you can sign up here. Should your child want to attend our weekend school please visit players drama school.
Which year groups can attend Players in Education workshops?
Our primary school workshops are open to all year groups unless other wise stated by the school.
How long is each workshop?
Our workshops run for one hour straight after school. E.g. If your school day ends at 3.30pm, the session would finish at 4.30pm.
How long is the course?
Courses vary depending on school term time. Typically a course is six weeks.
Where do I collect my child?
Once you have signed up to the course you will receive further information including where to collect from.
How do I pay for the course?
The price of the course must be paid in full via bank transfer prior to the start date. Payment details can be found on completion of the sign up form.
What should my child wear?
Children do not need to bring a change of clothes. You may wish to purchase a personalised Players in Education t-shirt or hoodie here.
Are staff DBS checked?
Yes, all staff hold an enhanced DBS check.
Are staff first aid trained?
Yes all members of staff are regularly trained.
How is the course concluded?
At the end of the course we do a performance in the school hall where all parents, family & friends are invited along.
