Anna McCutcheon
Manager / Dancer
Anna’s journey with Players Drama School began in 2010 when she joined as a Saturday student, drawn to the thrill of performing and the unique buzz of the stage. From a young age, she knew without a doubt that a career in the performing arts was her calling.
Anna pursued her professional training at Preston College Dance, where she earned a First-Class BA Honours Degree in Dance Performance, Choreography, and Teaching. Following her graduation, she stepped straight into the industry, joining the Rolling Back the Years UK Tour with Timeless Entertainment as a Dancer/Singer.
Her career has since seen her work with Pop Up Global and most recently Paul Holman Asscoitaes Snow White production at the Lowther Pavillion. Anna has also danced in music videos, high-street advertising campaigns, and festival tribute performances, bringing her versatility and energy to a wide range of productions.
Now, Anna has taken on a management role within Players in Education, planning, leading and delivering Performing arts sessions and GROOVE enrichment days in 12 primary schools weekly!
She is passionate about passing on her own current industry knowledge aswell as Players’ expertise, training, and discipline to younger generations, ensuring that children gain individuality, creativity, and essential life skills through the performing arts.
Reflecting on her journey, Anna credits Players Drama School for shaping her not only as a performer but as a person:
“Players grew my confidence in more ways than just the stage—it helped me develop public speaking skills, build lifelong friendships, and truly find my voice. Now, I feel at home here, guiding and inspiring students to chase their own passions and challenge themselves the way I once did.”
Anna is passionate about nurturing the next generation of performers, helping them grow in confidence, skill and artistry just as she did at Players Drama School.
