Singing
Singing and performing has always been a huge part of my life, from singing along to songs on the radio to performing solos on stage. I attended Players Drama School for many years before graduating last year, then I was offered the opportunity to work in Players in Education before becoming the singing teacher at our brand-new Saturday school at Preston College. I am so thrilled to be working for Players as it has always felt like a family to me, and I have always been supported and pushed to achieve while being a student and now as a teacher. Hopefully I can inspire others just as other Players Teachers inspired me.
I am currently studying a UAL Level 3 Diploma in Acting a LIPA Sixth Form College where I receive practical training and learn more specialised technique. I am currently achieving distinction level work, and as it’s a part time course it means I can devote my time to Players as well as my studies.
Singing is a form of escapism for me and is an amazing skill to develop from a young age, I cannot remember a time when I wasn’t singing. The diversity in singing is amazing and it links perfectly with all three disciplines which is what makes it so captivating for me. I enjoy teaching all age groups and hope that I can transfer my knowledge, passion and love onto every student I have the pleasure of teaching. It is an honour to be able to share my passion with everyone here at Players.
