About Us

Players Drama Group The players drama school has been running for nearly 14 years and first started out as ‘the little players’  but we changed our name after 10 years as the teen group weren’t too keen on being called  ‘little.’   

Our base is Preston Playhouse a great little theatre in the heart of Preston.  We started in 1994 with just 27 pupils and within the first year grew to 100.  13 years on we still have healthy numbers.  Naturally all these pupils do not attend together but are put into well structured classes according to their school year.    

At the players drama school we are more concerned with the here and now and what we can do for your child on a week to week basis. Your child will be actively involved in Acting, Dance & Singing classes.  However the  theatre is so much more than the 3 crafts it is a fantastic forum for your child to develop his/her ideas.

Singing
 At last a place where they can use their voices to full volume.
Dance
Not only learn techniques but the get their weekly dose of exercise.
Acting
 The chance to let their imaginations grow.
